Shipping and Returns

1. Handcrafted Nature & Organic Variations

Every piece in our shop is individually thrown, hand-built, or hand-glazed in our studio.

  • Unique Character: Subtle variations in shape, glaze color, speckling, and texture are natural characteristics of hand-made ceramics and are not considered defects.

  • Product Photos: While we strive to accurately depict each item, slight variations between the photo and the piece you receive are a hallmark of artisanal pottery.

2. Processing & Production Lead Times

  • In-Stock Items: Orders ship within [2–4 business days].

  • Made-to-Order / Backorder Items: Please allow [2–4 weeks] for creation, drying, firing, and glazing before shipment. You will receive progress or shipping updates via email.

3. Packaging & Safe Delivery

Ceramics require rigorous packaging to arrive safely. We use eco-friendly bubble wrap, heavy-duty cartons, and paper-fill to protect your items.

  • Tracking: A tracking number is emailed automatically when your order leaves our studio.

  • Insurance: All ceramic shipments are fully insured against carrier damage during transit.

4. Returns & Exchanges

Because we are a small production studio:

  • Return Window: Unused ceramics in original condition may be returned within [14 days] of delivery.

  • Return Shipping: Customers cover return postage and insurance. Returned items must arrive undamaged to qualify for a full refund (minus original shipping costs).

  • Custom / Personalized Orders: Custom glazed or personalized studio pieces are final sale.

5. Damaged Upon Arrival

If your piece arrives damaged despite our protective packing:

  1. Send clear photos of the damaged piece and the original packing box to [your-email@example.com] within 48 hours of delivery.

  2. Keep all packing materials for carrier verification.

  3. We will either send a remade replacement (subject to studio creation time) or issue a full refund.

6. Care Instructions

All studio ceramics are food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe unless noted otherwise in the product description. Hand washing is always recommended to prolong the life of handcrafted glazes.
