The original Roseville Pottery Company was founded in Roseville, Ohio in the latter part of the 19th century. Over the next 60 years, they grew to become one of the largest producers of American art pottery. With over 1000 employees and multiple factories, they became a cornerstone of central Ohio business and jobs. Their contributions to the civic community and a wide variety of charitable causes became legendary.
Unfortunately, in 1954 economic conditions led to their bankruptcy. In the 1970's collectors rediscovered their works, and a new generation discovered a new passion for the art of vintage Roseville Pottery. Many books and guide were published, and their rarest works were coveted by enthusiasts. This interest continues to this day with a wide variety of clubs and organizations.

The Retro Line comes from a trove or original molds, mostly from the 1950’s. With our simple glazes, they reflect a fusion of retro styles and modern decor. Each of them embodies simplicity, functionality, and elegance, and each is hand-made and glazed in the USA by local artisans. Roseville Pottery pieces were historically given as gifts, and we find that the same is true today.
